# KVM

  1. Install KVM

    pacman -S qemu libvirt ovmf virt-manager virt-viewer dnsmasq vdebridge-utils openbsd-netcat
  2. Start KVM

    sudo systemctl enable libvirtd.service
    sudo systemctl start libvirtd.service
  3. Use with non root user

    sudo vim /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf

    found and delete '#'

    #unix_sock_group = "libvirt"
    #unix_sock_rw_perms = "0770"
  4. Add new group and restart libvirt service

    newgrp libvirt
    sudo usermod -aG libvirt $USER
    sudo systemctl restart libvirtd.service
  5. Enable Nested Virtualization

    echo "options kvm-intel nested=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/kvm-intel.conf
    cat /sys/module/kvm_intel/parameters/nested

# Doker

  • Use with non root user

    sudo usermod -aG docker $USER
    newgrp docker
  • Use on Raspberrypi

    curl -fsSL https://get.docker.com -o get-docker.sh && sudo sh get-docker.sh
    sudo groupadd docker
    sudo gpasswd -a $USER docker
    newgrp docker
  • Portainer

    docker volume create portainer_data
    docker run -d -p 8000:8000 -p 9443:9443 --name portainer --restart=always -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock -v portainer_data:/data portainer/portainer-ce:latest

  1. Install PlatformIO

    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/platformio/platformio-core-installer/master/get-platformio.py -o get-platformio.py
    python3 get-platformio.py
  2. Set System Environment

    sudo vim /etc/profile

    Insert append_path '$HOME/.platformio/penv/bin'

    Save and exit

    source /etc/profile

# Minicom

yay -S minicom
sudo minicom -s

use sudo minicom connect the serial device

Tips: When use minicom, use Ctrl + A Z to help, Ctrl + A X exit minicom
